Does the Home Improvement Loan require available Home Equity?

No; the home improvement loans offered from LendKey's Lending partners are unsecured and do not require available home equity.

Do I need to work with an approved contractor to apply for financing?

Yes; each contractor must be approved by LendKey to offer the financing, and all funds are disbursed to the contractor directly upon homeowner-certified work completion.

How does the contractor get paid?

When the contractor has finished the work, he/she will notify LendKey that the work has been completed. Following this notification, the borrower will be asked to confirm that the work has been completed in his/her online account.
